A new organisation, Bright Blue, is for Tory progressives and has its own website. It is independent of the Party. Some regard it as a Tory front organisation. Its e-magazine The Progressive Conscience is supported financially by the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust Limited.
POWER2010 is an interesting organisation. Click here to visit the main website. Some Tory blogs claim it is a Liberal Dozycrat front organisation. It receives support from the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust Limited. The Trust is not a charity and therefore, unlike the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust, can support political campaigning unfettered by charity law. Charities can campaign, but their power to do so is limited and is under the watchful gaze of Dame Suzi and her Charity Commission
