Press reports that the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer will have to submit budget proposals to the EU for review before presenting them to the House of Commons are not the work of some anti-EU propagandist.
The problems in the eurozone and the clashes it has provoked between France and Germany have led to demands within the Commission that the EU should move quickly to fiscal union: and not just those countries in the eurozone.
Time for alarm bells to ring.
