I remember well from my student days in 1965 the wonders of the Law of Property Act 1925 and the minutiae of fee simple absolute in possession (freehold) and term of years absolute (leasehold). Along with entailed interests and trusts for sale my mind was opened to a whole new world of legalese. Dry but fascinating.
