Whilst the press has focused recently on the divisions within the Conservative Party over EU membership: stay as we are, re-negotiate, or leave, the problems within the Labour Party have dropped beneath the radar.

Labour should be flying ahead in the polls given that the government is so divided, fragile and embarking on the most unpopular programme of cuts and privatization that we've seen since the Thatcher years. But no, its leader would rather give the Tories an easy ride because he agrees with them on everything. What a cretinous waste of space.
