The waiting continues....

Steve Uncles, he of the ban the burka in Kent and machine gun illegal immigrants notoriety, had this to say in a comment on my blog:

Still waiting for a statement on how he planned to ban the burka.  Still waiting to be exposed "on your Anna Cleves 'joke'".

Anna Cleves?

According to the Statement of Persons Nominated Anna Cleves is standing for the English Democrats at the Kent County Council election in Malling Central Division.

An evocative name, I needed to know more about her.  Glory be, Steve Uncles has provided the following:

'Cleves' has become 'Cleve'  and 'Anna' is also 'Teresa'.  'She' becomes a 'he'.  Confused?

So, where does Anna (Teresa) Cleves (Cleve) live?  Must say I was scratching my head when a search of the Royal Mail Postcode Finder produced a blank.  A site visit would clear this up - but alas, look as I did, I could not find the abode.

Help! Steve Uncles is her agent, can he help me locate his candidate's address? After all, should she (he) win  to where will constituents' mail be delivered?

UPDATE:

The information on Anna Cleves has been amended (See below).  But why persist in calling her Cleve when she is listed as Cleves in the Statement of  Persons Nominated?  Note the use of the word 'live' for 'life' in both versions and the comedy of commas.

Who is Rob?

English Democrats over-excited by bookies' odds

I note that Steve Uncles and Chris Beverley have become somewhat excited by the odds offered by William Hill:

I wonder why these two English Democrat bloggers have not mentioned the odds offered by Ladbrokes?

Oh dear

My avid reader will recall that recently I was subjected to a nasty attack on the English Passport blog for which I have sought an apology.

The following is the 'apology' I received. It does not address to my satisfaction the issue in contention.  Party membership is irrelevant.

Just for the record:  I have been a member of the Conservative Party for past five years.

Uncles' agent blows it.

Steve Uncles, one of the candidates for the post of Police Commissioner for Kent, has appointed Michael Walters as his agent.  Today, I published the following on my Facebook page, stating it was from Kent on Sunday:

Walters responded with the following:

Read it for yourself by clicking on the link below, then go to page 16.

Well, Uncles' agent made a fool of himself and the penny has dropped the article in question is 'for real'.

Uncles upsets teachers

Take a look at this:

http://englishpassport.org/2012/10/24/villagers-cry-for-help-in-medway-but-craig-mackinlay-kent-pcc-candidate-refuses-to-help/

Note the final sentence from this post on the Uncles owned blog.

Well, that's the teaching vote lost and I would imagine the votes of a lot of people who hold primary school teachers in high regard.

Green Riposte

http://stuartjeffery.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/rebuttal-to-steven-uncles.html

Rebuttal to Steven Uncles

On 30th September allegations were made against me on the 'English Passport' blog owned by 'Passport & Associates Ltd', which is run by Steven Uncles (he is a director and secretary, the other directors seem to be members of his family).

The blog post accuses me of:

1. Being a Nazi. This is both offensive and untrue. Furthermore it is offensive to the memory of those people who died at the hands of the Nazis.
2. Being a bigot, i.e "a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially: one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance". Again this is offensive and I believe, untrue.
3. Being on drugs. The inference in the blog post is that I regularly take recreational drugs. I do not take illegal drugs.

Furthermore, on October 19th, Mr Uncles claimed on his police commissioner campaignwebsite :

4. That I had withdrawn from the Police Commissioner election out of embarrassment. This is untrue, I had never had or stated an intention to stand in the election.
5. That I am anti-English. This is simply untrue.

I hope that Mr Uncles with remove the posts from his blogs and apologise for the untrue slurs that he has made.

What a load of baloney.

Yes, from Steve Uncles' blog.  See:

http://englishpassport.org/2012/10/21/craig-mackinlay-police-commissioner-candidate-a-scottish-conservative-lost-in-kent/

From the article:

Craig MacKinlay Police Commissioner Candidate - A Scottish Conservative lost in Kent ...
The Scottish Conservative Accountant Craig MacKinlay, who has been parachuted into Kent, by Conservative Party Central office to ensure that 20% cuts are made in English Police Services to enable further "bribes" to go to Scotland in addition to the £33 Billion already given to Scotland by English Tax Payers (Source Tax Payers Alliance), has been busy in his campaign in Kent, mainly introducing himself to "Conservatives"

Far from being parachuted in the Conservative candidate was elected by Kent Conservatives at a series of meetings open to all members of the party in Kent.  How was Mr Uncles selected?

The Conservative candidate was born in, lives in, works in Kent and has a distinguished record of public service in Medway. I have received this from a reliable source:

Craig Mackinlay in fifth generation English. You would need to go back to 1855 to find his first non English born relative.

Casual disregard for fact illustrated also by this from the English Passport blog:

Truer Statement of Persons Nominated for the Election of a Police and Crime Commissioner Kent Police Area Ann Barnes Liberal Democrat Dai Liyanage Independent Craig MacKinlay Scottish Conservative Party Candidate Steve Uncles English Democrats "More Police - Catching Criminals!" Piers Wuachope UK Independence Party Harriet Bronwen Yeo The Labour Party Candidate, Kent, PCC, Police Commissioner

Criticised for having a Scottish name.

According to Steve, I'm a Dartford lad, Uncles if you have a Scottish name and are a Conservative you shouldn't be standing as a candidate in Kent.  You are a Scottish Conservative!

Pathetic.

Uncles has also had a go at one of the Independent candidates for hailing from Liverpool. Pity he cannot spell her first name correctly  and what is a 'Scoucer'?

Needless to say, she has not been selected by the Liberal Democrats.

More tripe from Uncles

Have a close look at this article:

http://englishpassport.org/2012/09/07/scoucer-liver-bird-anne-barnes-from-liverpool-selected-to-stand-for-the-liberal-democrats-in-the-kent-police-crime-elections/

Apart from failing to spell correctly the name of the candidate he is attacking, what or who is a scoucer? Does he mean scouser?

Regarding rugby, does our author not understand that Rugby League is played also in the south and is thriving.

This from the article:

Mrs Barnes was first appointed as a magistrate member in 2001, and despite the fact that that now disqualifies her from standing in the Kent Police & Crime Commissioner Elections, Anne has decided to defy the Law and carry on.

What a load of tripe.  See:

Bikini Uncles

No sooner do I decide to stop posting than Steve Uncles come up trumps again.

His latest blog post:

http://englishpassport.org/2012/08/26/survation-poll-august-2012-lab-37-con-30-ukip-12-lib-dem-10-nationalists-10-snp-pc-engdem/

Nationalists are on 10%, but a closer study of the poll results shows the EDP on 0.2% and 10% refers to all political parties (including the Green Party) other than Labour, Conservative, UKIP and the Lib Dems.

Remember: statistics are like a bikini: what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is vital.

Blog closing for the time being

It's all too easy to find material to show up Uncles. Boring, so time for a break.
