Kent Police Authority

I see the same advertisement has appeared a third time in the local newspaper telling us what a wonderful person Elaine Boulton is. Elaine is a member of the Police Authority, having been selected/appointed by some arcane system. The sooner the system is changed so that the electorate can choose, rather than having individuals selected for them, the better.
