Doom and Gloom (2)

Much of the population was taken up with the frolic on the River Thames and the pastime of messing about on boats.  All quite harmless, although those with republican sentiments were not amused.   Sadly, the BBC coverage was naff.  Richard Dimbleby must have been revolving like a turbine in his grave.
